We only get paid when you close.
On the free plan, you don't owe us anything until an actual deal or sale closes. When it does, a small share supports the platform. That's it.
You pay when you outgrow the caps.
Not because a feature is locked. Upgrade when your volume, team, or deal size makes the math work — never for a paywalled surface.

- What's the fee on closed deals?
- You only pay a fee when a real deal closes — see the comparison table above for the exact percentage at your plan. No fee on listings, browsing, or interest. The percentage steps down at each higher plan, so bigger deals cost you less.
- If I use legal help, what's the actual cost?
- You pay the lawyer their agreed amount directly. A small platform fee is added on top of that — the percentage is in the table. No surprise charges.
- Do buyers or investors pay anything?
- No. Browsing, following, and expressing interest are free forever. Any transaction between you and a creator is handled directly by the two of you.
- What does 'bring your own AI key' unlock?
- Any paid plan can plug in the AI provider key of their choice. When set, your work runs on your own account and monthly limits effectively disappear.
- How does the cross-promotion boost work?
- Time you actually spend focused earns cross-promotion reach across other creators' pages. Higher plans get a bigger multiplier on that reach.
- What counts as an 'article' toward my monthly limit?
- Any drafted article, whether you publish it or not. Videos count separately. Bring your own AI key and neither counts against the limit.
- What if I hit any limit mid-month?
- You keep everything you've already made and everything you can see. You just can't do more of that specific action until it resets. Upgrade any time to lift the cap immediately.
- Can I switch tiers anytime?
- Yes. Upgrade takes effect immediately (prorated to the day). Downgrade at the end of the billing period. You never lose data — just the capacity delta. Cancel any time from the Billing page. No phone tree, no retention team, no dark patterns.
- What about the 7-day $1 trial?
- Try Studio for 7 days for a dollar. On day 7 it either auto-converts to whichever tier you picked or drops back to the Garage — your choice, no auto-charges. Available from the sign-up flow.
- Founding-member launch — what happens when it ends?
- Everything is free right now while we're early. When we switch to paid tiers you get at least 30 days notice plus four options: keep the free tier forever, upgrade, export your work, or destroy it. Founding members who upgrade during launch are grandfathered at their price for as long as they keep the subscription active.
